GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
1.1 The private wellness center Spa & Lounge 383, located at 383 chaussée d’Alsemberg, B-1180 Uccle, and operated by LIFE IS NICE SRL, whose registered office is located at 383 chaussée d’Alsemberg, 1180 Uccle, and registered at the BCE under number 0800.573.959, is a private spa that is available for hire to individuals or groups of 1 to a maximum of 4 people, including children, for a specific period of time as defined at the time of booking.
1.2 The rental includes access to the facilities, including access to the changing room with shower, the steam room or bath for 4 people, the jacuzzi or whirlpool for 4 people, the fish therapy aquarium for 2 people simultaneously, the toilet with Japanese toilet, the infrared therapy light and a lounge area at the back of the centre.
1.3 The Hirer(s) agrees to occupy the private wellness centre in a responsible manner and to respect the safety rules and regulations, in order to avoid injuries, accidents and damage. The hirer will be held responsible for any damage caused by non-compliance with these general conditions. The management cannot be held responsible for any failure to comply with the rules described in these general conditions.
1.4 The rental of the Spa & Lounge 383, located at 383 chaussée d’Alsemberg, is at the discretion of the management, which may refuse access to the infrastructure at any time without having to give reasons. Access will be refused to, among others: people who are in a pronounced state of depression as a result of the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs and people presenting a hygiene problem.
2. The Golden Rules
2.1 Each person renting the 383 Spa & Lounge will receive a pair of non-slip bathing shoes. Please wear them at all times when moving around the centre to avoid accidents. The floor can be slippery when wet. We also ask that you never run around the centre for the same reasons.
2.2 Guests have to shower with soap before using the steam room, jacuzzi or the fish therapy tank.
2.3 Access to the jacuzzi, whirlpool and hammam is strictly forbidden to children under the age of 16 without continuous adult supervision.
2.4 The 383 Spa & Lounge is a non-smoking area. Failure to comply with this rule will automatically and irrevocably result in a fine of €250 (two hundrd fifty euro), to be paid immediately, as well as a lifetime ban on hiring the centre.
2.5 It is strictly forbidden to stand in the aquarium or to put your full body weight on the aquarium, as this could cause it to break. Failure to comply with this rule may result in considerable costs (replacement of the aquarium and fish, loss of turnover due to the absence of the aquarium for several weeks, other indirect damage to the infrastructure), which will be fully charged to the tenant responsible for the damage.
2.6 Please do not eat any food inside the steam room or jacuzzi, nor give food (other than your feet) to the fish. Food consumption is restricted to the lounge area at the back of the centre and the changing area at the entrance.
2.7 Never touch the steam outlet at the bottom of the steam room, as it can be boiling hot and can cause burns even when the steam room is not in use.
2.8 It is forbidden to open the door on the street side and/or to let extra people into the centre during your booking, under penalty of a fine of EUR 250 (two hundred fifty euro) and lifetime disbarment.
3. Reservations
3.1 Reservations can be made through the website, the Facebook page, the Simplybook portal or by phone. We will always ask for your name, telephone number and e-mail address, so that we can contact you in case of unforeseen circumstances. The centre can be booked for up to 4 people. The Spa & Lounge 383 can never be held liable for problems due to the providing of incorrect contact data.
3.2 The price varies depending on the number of people wishing to occupy the centre and the length of the booking. Please refer to our website www.spa383.be to know the current prices. Please note that prices can be changed overnight without any prior notice. The price valid at time of booking will be charged.
3.3 Prices include the hire of the centre, one pair of non-slip bath slippers and two towels (one big and one small) per person. Access to the centre gives you unlimited access to the shower, steam room, jacuzzi, fish therapy tank, Japanese toilet, infrared relaxation right and lounge area for the duration of your booking.
3.4 Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your booking. Please note that you never will be able to tay longer in the spa if you arrived late, since we need to make sure the whole centre is cleaned thoroughly before the next guests arrive. A member of the 383 Spa & Lounge staff will escort you to the exit at the end of your booking.
3.5 Payment for the booking is made via the website or online booking system. If you have consumed food or drink during your booking, we ask you to pay for it at the end of the booking.
3.6 Please note that children under 8 years are not allowed in the centre. Children above 8 years are authorised but need to be under constant supervision of an adult, who will be in charge and responsable for the child(ren). Allowed children will be counted as a normal ‘person’ when determining the price of the booking.
4. Cancellations
4.1 Please note that all payments made through our website or booking software is non-refundable.
4.2 For cancellations or changes more than 72 hours before the actual start of the booking, the downpayment and all other paid amounts are not lost, but are valid for a duration of 6 months after the date of the initial booking. For re-booking, we ask you to contact us in written (e-mail, sms or Whatsapp), mentioning the initial booking number.
4.3 For cancellation or changes less than 72 hours before the actual start of the booking, all paid amounts will unfortunately be lost. Thank you for your comprehension.
4.4 If you arrive more than 30 minutes late after the start of your booking without letting us know (telephone, e-mail, sms or Whatsapp), please note that we reserve the right to cancel the booking. We will always contact you by sms or phone call on the number you mentioned during your reservation before cancelling your booking, to enquire about the reason why you haven’t arrived yet.
